The same lion’s mane and cordyceps blend as Brain Sustain — both work independently of caffeine. Calm Descent uses the Mountain Water Process, pure glacier water instead of chemical solvents, to remove caffeine while preserving flavor. At under 0.01% caffeine, it’s genuinely evening-friendly.
Most mushroom coffees mix powder into ground coffee after roasting — where it sits on the grind and ends up trapped in your filter. We do it backwards: the mushrooms are extracted into a concentrated tincture and botanically infused into the green beans during roasting, sealing the extract inside the bean before it ever reaches your grinder. Every coffee in this pack works the same way.

If there’s no caffeine, where does the energy come from?+
From the mushrooms directly. Lion’s mane stimulates NGF at the cellular level and cordyceps supports ATP production and oxygen use — both work with zero caffeine. It’s cleaner, steadier support without the spike, jitters or crash.
Does Peak State taste different from regular coffee?+
No — and that's deliberate. We source high-quality single-origin beans and infuse the mushroom extract into the bean during roasting with our Peak State Infusion Process™, not stirred in as a powder afterward. There's nothing sitting on top of your grounds to add an earthy or medicinal aftertaste — it just tastes like a really good cup of coffee.
